So much beauty without a hint of showiness. That, we feel, is a fair reflection of both this arrangement and of the Austrian capital we named it after.
It’s a bunch featuring a range of colours that represent the rich warmness of a central European summer and the snowy coolness of winters in the Alps, to the east of which lies Vienna.
It makes this the ideal all-year-rounder bouquet to grace letterboxes across the nation. It will be as welcome on a cool, dark December morning around Christmas time as it will be on a balmy July day during which the sun just can’t stop shining.
FLOWERS:
BUTTON CERISE MASAI SANTINI - Cerise stands for glamour, appreciation - or both if you like. Either way, it brings a splash of bold, late summer brilliance to this all year round bunch.
COLOMBIAN MINI PEACH SPRAY CARNATIONS – Carnations simply have to be Colombian. And the spray of soothing peach they add to this arrangement certainly help the other colours pop.
BUPLEURUM – Does the human eye prefer seeing bouquets with green at the base and colour at the top, because that’s how most flowers look? Quite possibly. Which is why the Bupleurum is here to deliver the green, around and over which the colourful blooms can do their thing.
PURPLE PHLOX – The presence of the versatile phlox proves the suitability of this arrangement for any occasion, harmonising with with the collection’s darker colours while providing a pleasing contrast with the lighter elements of the bunch.
IMPORT HYBRID TEA WHITE ROSE – Sporting the biggest petals in the bouquet and perhaps the gentlest of colours, this English garden classic adds a welcome touch of variety and fragrance to the collection.
Suitable for all occasions, all year round
They were for my aunty who is poorly. And she liked them
The photo of the Vienna, which I chose for my friend, did not match the photo she sent me when the flowers arrived. She was delighted, but I was a little disappointed by the apparent lack of colour and number of flowers in the vase which she photographed.
